Problem with Jumpy Cursor

I sent my laptop in for warranty service. They said they restored default settings but I believe they replaced the hard drive. Ever since I got it back, I have a terrible provlem with serious jumpy cursor syndrome. Any suggestions for a resolution?

Is it wireless? Maybe the battery is dying.

Yes it's wireless but the battery gets changed on a regular basis. Thanks for the suggestion.

Try your receiver in a different port.

Also, if it makes a difference, it's a Gateway laptop running Windows 8.1. I didn't have this problem before I sent it in for service.
