[Troubleshooting] Windows 8.1 won't boot after I updated ASRock UEFI!

I was looking through the BIOS of my ASRock Z97 Extreme4 when I saw an option called 'Instant Flash'. I clicked on it to see what it was, and it told me that there were some updates to my UEFI. I updated them, and now I cannot boot Windows, not even in safe mode. Please help and advise. Can I revert to an old version of the BIOS or anything?

What happened was, the BIOS update messed up my boot order. It was trying to boot XP from my old hard drive. When I changed the SATA mode like you suggested, it succeeded in booting XP, and then I realised the problem. All I had to do was change the boot order back and it worked again! Thanks!
