Hi..

I'm using asrock 960gc-gs and want to upgrade to my new FX 4300 cpu that i bought.
The problem is, when I put my cpu, my monitor come up with this error "No Signal Detected". Now, I switch back my old cpu and it's run normally without problem. I do check online solution, in youtube where they ask to remove ram, power cord, gpu, clean dust, remove cmos etc.. and the last option is, I'm thinking about the ram. Is this cpu and motherboard can use DDR2 ram?

Need urgently help here. I got work to do.

I'm using the latest bios revision that I download from asrock website. If you said that I have to use DDR3, that mean it's no use for me to use my old ram ddr2 isn't?

Firstly, it's only black screen. But after I put on my DDR3 it was fine. As people said before, I need to use DDR3 to work with my CPU and Motherboard. Thank you for all your support :)
