im in the middle of building a system right now and i was going with the nzxt kraken x61 as a cpu cooler but ive heard really good things about the swiftech h220x but i cant seem to find anywhere that sells it in the UK, if anyone knows how to get one it will be much appreciated

The Swiftech H220-X and 240-X don't fall under this patenting issue, though; they were developed to counter this 'patent' issue. They are likely just out of stock due to demand or resupply.

Not a fan of the Kraken, but I know some people are. Just another all in one cooler with a poor pump and no expandability.

Where have you checked online for the Swiftechs?
