GTX 660 ti, will adding another in SLi boost performance enough?

Hello,

First I would like to start by saying that I know everyone will tell me to just upgrade to a newer and better single card. But my GTX 660ti is running in my water loop with an EK full cover block, and it would be too expensive and too much of a pain to upgrade to a newer card.

With that said, I could easily throw another 660ti with sli into my pc, and just leave it out of the water loop on air cooling.

I just bought the card on an upgrade. I upgraded my build to X99. And it was so expensive that I decided to buy the 660 ti to save a little bit of cash. I don't usually game that much, and I don't really care about crazy high frame rates etc. Just as long as the game runs smooth.

Since I have my current 660 ti watercooled, I can overclock it A LOT. I have no problem playing BF4 and Crysis 3 on Ultras settings. But with the AA turned up or if I switch from SMAA to MXAA the frame rate drops and becomes a little "laggy"

WIth Far Cry 4 coming out, I just want to be able to play these games on Ultra with decent AA. I can also get another 660ti refurbished from my local micro center for only $129. So would throwing another GTX 660 ti in SLi make a big improvement?

Like I said, I don't pay attention to frame rates etc. I don't care to brag about that stuff. It plays these games on ultra just fine, but with some AA settings it will lag a bit behind. All I want to do is boost it enough to fix that issue. Would this work?

My build specs:
Intel i7 5820k
16gb DDR4 2400
Samsung 840 SSD
GeForce GTX 660 ti
MSI x99 SLI Plus motherboard
I also have a XFX 750w Black Edition Power supply, So that should be able to handle two 660's.

I Recently Got a second 660.. So far in SLI it runs great. Far cry 4 running maxed out with no issues. It was cheaper for me to buy a second card then to upgrade.
