GTX 970 price drop?

Guys,
Do u think gtx 970's price will drop?
is there any gtx 970 in 350-60s range right now
Tell me if there are price drops.
Maybe black friday or cyber monday will have a sale? who knows

They wont go on sale for black friday. They have been selling so aggressively that it would be an economically poor decision to discount them.

Their prices will drop when there is a new gpu that competes with them eg GTX960, R9 390 etc.

Ah, in that case, if you can wait prices will drop eventually.

They wont go on sale for special deals, but once they have some competition there will be a decrease in prices.

My build was tailored towards it. I put a lower watt PSU for it. Do u know when the r9 3XXs will come out or new nvidia cards

Ya, the price difference up here (Canada) is just stupid. Ref 970 goes for ~380$. Amazon Canada had the EVGA SC ACX 2.0 one at 349.99 for a couple of weeks before the price jumped to 390$.

But cad = 0.89usd.

US - 970 = $350.

So you'd expect $390cad anyway.

Prices dropping? Not a chance! Demand is too high. It's all about supply and demand. Will not happen until probably around the end of next year.

Is a XFX 550w PSU gonna power a MSI gtx 770?

I personally wouldn't gamble on getting that 100$ rebate. You'd need 42 amps on the 12v rail for a 770 and 600w psu is whats recommended by Nvdia, you could squeeze by depending on the efficiency.

to be honest i doubt nvidia will drop 970 price when they launch 960 even if 960 only slightly slower than 970 performance. as for 390 i think it will depends on it's performance and price.
