Hello everyone;

So first some helpful information:
CPU: 1090T Black Edition
RAM: 8GB Kingston 1600Mhz
MOBO: GA-990FXA-UD3
GFX: 2x Powercolor 280x 3gb
OS: 8.1 64x

All right, so the problem I am having is installing drivers/keeping them installed.
The first time round with these GFX cards I was a noob, installed latest drivers without un-installing my 6850 drivers.

This worked fine for around a week, before I restarted my computer one day and got an error saying: "Could not find AMD Drivers" from CCC.

So I booted into safe mode, un-installed them through device manager, and ran DDU.
Rebooted, and tried to install 14.9 drivers, only to get a BSOD with: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (atikmdg.sys)

Tried a whole heap of things, ended up disabling one of the display adapters in device manager, and that landed me a successful install. However, after installing the windows updates last night from the 9th/10, I have had the same issue re-occur, however my fix from last time isn't working.

I'm pretty much at my Witt's end. Anyone got any solutions?

Solution
remove the drivers use display driver uninstaller in safe mode then turn off computer remove the bottom card turn on the computer install the drivers with the one card, then turn off the computer re install the second card should work great
