I am running Windows 8.1 on a custom build PC which was working fine for a week (its still new) until today when I received the BSOD which gave the error:
driver_irql_not_less_or_equal (netio.sys)
I did some general research I found it can be caused by antivirus softwares, and co-incidentally the last software I installed was Kaspersky Internet Security. So while most of the existing thread point out towards the antivirus being the problem, they don't really mention a solution, so can someone please tell me what to do?
I would like to resolve it without giving up KIS hopefully since I just bought the license.
