IS this a good 1440p build

Would i need sli 970 to run this because according to thishttp://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/msi_geforce_gtx_970_gaming_review,18.html
1 ms 970 will get me 45-75 frames on ultra setting and it is a 60hz monitor

Nothing wroing with over 40 fps in most games. If you go by their tests an 980 would be better.

To me, spending $300+ to get one tick in quality is not worth it at all. When playing it would be tough to tell the difference between High and Ultra. Are you going to pause to see if there is an extra shadow or two being shown on the screen or play the game?
