Black Friday's soon, and old laptop is glitching. Time to build a new one?

Here's what I have for a build:

Intel Core i7 4770 - $309.99
G.Skill Sniper 8GB 1866 - $81.99
MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming - $161.79
ASUS GTX 770 - $289.99
WD BLACK SERIES 1TB - $74.99
Antec 550W 80+ Platinum - $89.99
CoolerMaster HAF 912 - $59.99
Monitor: ASUS VX238H - $169.99
TtEsports Level 10 M mouse - $59.99
ROCCAT Isku keyboard - $87.99

Please, say your word, what's good, what's bad, where I can save - the total here is $1386.70, but it's always good to save some money. I'd like to spend as little as possible, but still have a decent desktop to enjoy BF4, Watch Dogs, all Assassin's Creeds, and other games.

Thanks to all who helps.

1. Get i5 4460
2. Get any H97 motherboard from Asus.
3.Get 970 with the money you have saved
4.Get cheaper mice and keyboard
5. Get an 120GB SSD with the money you have saved.

That way, it is going to perform better in games, and of course, load faster.

Pairing an i7 with a single gtx 770 is overkill.

Also if theres a better i5 priced lower or the same, get it.

I don't really think you need an 88$ keyboard.

Okay to save money don't buy a z87 motherboard because you cannot overclock that cpu anyways. Next get an ssd as a boot drive and use the hard drive as a storage drive. Get the GTX 970 instead of the 770 if it is in stock.

Your words are... meaningless. You recommend to save money by not buying a Z87 motherboard, but then you recommend NOT to save by buying SSD AND 970. I know SSD is faster, but I also know it's way much more expensive than HDD; I know 970 is better, but I also know it's more expensive. Also, nothing specific about brands.

Anybody? Critique to my config is welcome, as long as it's useful. I really want to build a powerful desktop with as little spent on parts as possible. Soon, because Black Friday is soon.
