Hello Sir,

I'm planning buy a new graphic card for my PC, mainly for gaming purpose. I currently have the following configuration:

Processor: Intel 3.1 GHz LGA 1155 Core i5 3450

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-H77M-D3H

RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC RAM (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10)

Graphic Card: ATI Radeon HD6750 1GB GDDR5

PSU: Seasonic S12II 620 Watts

Last year, I upgraded my PC after taking advice from the specialists at Tom's Hardware. I was suggested to change my graphic card to "Sapphire Radeon 7850 Dual-X OC", but due to budget issues I couldn't buy that item.

Now, my budget for a new graphic card is 200$-225$. Please advice me which graphic card should I buy for a excellent gaming experience. I'm planning to stick with this new graphic card for the next 3-4 years.

Also, my PSU has suddenly stopped working. I initially thought that the UPS is unable to provide charge to my CPU or maybe the PSU chord is at fault, but after trying a number of things, I've come to a conclusion that the fault lies in the PSU. I will get it confirmed with an engineer. So please advice me a good PSU which I can buy, if the engineer suggests me to change it.

Thanking you in anticipation,

if you are planning on getting a card that will last 3-4 years then you should go with a GTX 970. its slightly out of your budget but its a very solid card and will definitely last you a few good years, then later you can squeeze it to get more power out of it via OC!!
Now for the PSU check this link! choose between Tier 1 and 2A. you will need 650-750W to be good with the GTX 970.

I went through a bunch of cheaper PSUs before I bowed down and realized that money talks. I've heard Themaltakes spark and others just leave me dead on a rainy day after little use. I've settled and been happy with a Consair 750M. Though I know I would probably be safer with a 1000W.

Thank you for your valuable advice, I currently don't have the budget to buy GTX 970 but I'll check on online websites if I can get an option of EMI to buy that card.. Also, thanks a lot for providing me with the PSU link, its very helpful.
