I have problems on the new COD:AW with lag and I'm wondering what the root is? I have 8 gb of ram, Sapphire 78150 3 gb gpu, and then a very entry level cpu(a10 5800k) I sometimes play the game fine at 90 fps on some maps and then plummet to 20 fps on different maps. I get 30 mb/s internet with like 12 ping so I doubt its a connection problem. Also the settings have no affect on my lag whatsoever. I could have maxed out settings and get a solid fps one game, and then have mid-low settings the next and get like 20 fps. Any solutions would be great and also any recommendations on a cpu upgrade(I have an FM2 motherboard which Im pretty sure has a huge limit as to what I can get so maybe tell me a processor and motherboard you'd recommend. you have a 7850 is that correct? (sorry is that a typo?)
hmn, maybe you can check the cpu and gpu utilization while in-game. if one is at max (probably your cpu) and one is too low, then it might be a bottleneck. check your temps also
