Please help me. PC shuts down abruptly.

My specs are i5 4440 asrock h81 pro btc 8 GB corsair ram it has no GPU yet PSU is 600 watt umax.. I know its a pretty bad PSU. I am facing probs my PC power is automatically gone then I have to wait 5 min then only I am able to start it Again . Is this is a PSU prob recommende me a good PSU. If this is not a psu prob give me a good reason and solution according to me it can be a PSU prob bcoz my system is full uptodate. Help me out guys

a 300+ watt seasonic or XFX will be good. (for your current setup, adding a GPU will need more power)

Here is our very good power supply tier list. With a lower end graphics card tier 3 and up should be fine. With a higher end card try and stay with tier 2 and up.

Losing power, then you have to wait 5 minutes to restart ... those sound like the textbook signs of a shutdown due to overheating. What are you CPU[strike]/GPU[/strike] (lol, no GPU) temperatures like? And do you hear any fans spinning extra loud right before the shutoff?
