Hi guys Im planning to build a new pc and I had my eye on the 4670k for a while now. Then I saw a craigslist listing of the 4570 brand new for a $100 (good deal or no?). Now Im on the fence if I should get the 4570 or just wait and pray there will be a sale on black friday or cyber monday for the 4670k?

For your PSU, you don't need 850W, your build pulls at at most about 350W. You should change out the PSU for the Rosewill Capstone 650W Gold-Certified for $60 and you'll still have amp room for CrossFire/SLI in the future.

For your motherboard, get the Gigabyte Z97X-SLI, the best budget overclocking board that also supports CrossFire/SLI, SataExpress, SataM.2, and a Realtek ALC1150 audio codec only found on higher-end mobos.

Good luck on your build!

How much 4670k will cost you ? If the differences is above 50$ then get the 4570.
100$ is a good price. Also even with overclock you will find huge differences.
Plus you need a good cooler/motherboard to overclock the 4670k so you need +100/200$ to make a good overclock build.

If its going to be a huge improvement on overclocking then I would. How much of an improvement is the 4570 vs 4670 on stock speeds? Any guess on what the price the 4670k is gonna be on bf?
