Will a Radeon R9 290 crossfire with a Radeon HD 7950?

As stated above, just wondering if these two cards will crossfire. I;m hinking about upgrading to multi gpu's as they seem to have pretty good deals on newegg. I have the HD 7950 as of now. The links to the two cards are below. Thanks.

The hx750 will be enough to run two 7950's or a single 290x. You would need to upgrade to a hx850 or equivalent if you wanted to run 2 290x's. I think running the 290 you linked to would be a better option than 7950's in crossfire.
