Hello guys , emh got a question i currently have cpu called AMD II x4 750k Quad Core 3.4GHz and basicly problem is i play CS:GO competitive , and i need much more fps i currently get 120-140 fps which is not enough some other guy had the same processor and 7750HD GPU and basicly getting loads more fpsss. could that be because AMD and NVDIA doesnt merge good together?

my pc spec's..

CPU : AMD II X4 750k QUAD CORE 3.4GHZ
MOTHERBOARD :ASUS f2a55-m LK
RAM : 12GB
HDD : 750GB kingston
GPU : GTX 650 Ti

, basicly if i get radeon r9 280 would i get much more FPS ? and the game is actually depended on cpu a bit but mby nvdia just blocking my cpu to work correctly..

or the best option would be to save up for i5 with new motherboard? ;/ i kinda have low budget any suggests guys?

CSGO is a CPU based game. (hl2 engine) I've been playing cs for 12 years. I am currently global elite in CSGO. You need a better processor if you want more fps. I'm currently running 4770k and I get 300 to 400 fps.

Anything above the 128fps needed for the update on good servers is gravy. Valve's regular comp servers are at 64 instead of the 128 and it pisses everyone off so I'd save your money. Maybe lower settings so you can acheive higer frames.

lowering resolution and texture barely helps in that game. If you are a competitive CS player, it is worth the upgrade. And you should think about upgrading to a 120 or 144hz monitor too if you dont already have one.

Well guys haha, u saying why would i want more fps if i have only 60HZ screen, i basicly like to practice individualy in that game and when u go to deathmatch, i have like 80fps and it feels so horrible and actually not even enjoyable to play so :)) for me having more fps in deathmatch would be great and i could do it more and enjoy, but i guess u just plays matchmakings then yes for you is enough.. but i need aaaaaaaaa bit more :D

Well if u getting 200fps go to deathmatch where is 10 people, and write fps_max 200 and then fpx_max 80 and try to play 10 mins with each and reply again.

Bro Its not all on in mind and only noobs play with Vsync in CS... Vsync has it's own side affects as well. There will be mouse lag and input lag with it on. As a competitive cs player, I prefer screen tearing than mouse lag and input lag.
