connected to the internet but can't access anything

So, I have a Intel WiFi Link 1000 BGN. It shows me that I have connection but I can't access anything. I also tried using other networks and it does not work, so surely the problem is in my computer. My guess is some error with IPv6, as it shows it can't connect to the internet, but IPv4 does work.

Go to your Network and Sharing Center, manage adapters, right click on wifi adapter and hit properties, from here you can disable ipV6.

Have you ran any malware scans?
What errors does it give you for not being able to connect?
Have you tried other browsers/programs?
Do you have any other error messages?

Disabling IPv6 changes nothing. I ran a malware scan a few hours ago and it found nothing. When I try to enter any website or use anything internet related it simply says it can't reach the server. It's the only error I'm getting.

go to command prompt,

type "nslookup www.google.com"
and see if it gets you IP addresses back

Have you tried another device on your home network, and have you tired using wired instead of wireless?

Using nslookup does give me some ip addresses. Using wired gives me the same results and I am using my home network on my cellphone right now.

So your network works fine, and you can go out over the internet and resolve a web url to an IP address but cant display a webpage. You have an infection or corruption in your browser.

What did you scan your PC with?
Have you tried different browsers?

I scanned my computer with avast. I tried using other browsers, but it didn't work. Also, any programs that need internet aren't working either.

Use malwarebytes. You will need to download the install file from a different computer, put it on a flash drive and then install it.

If avast let the infection through, its likely not going to find it after the fact

I'm back. The problem doesn't look like malware. My computer finished scanning with malwarebytes and it fixed some virus. However, my internet still doesn't work.
