Hi there,

I am using Windows 7 64-bit OS with AMD FX-4100 Quad-Core Processor. 4GB RAM

I’m looking for a good Graphics Card and RAM which supports few software.

I’m very much keen in learning After Effects > Cinema 4D > 3ds Max > Nuke. All these software but I’m not sure which Graphics Card support all these software. Since I have only 4GB RAM, I may need to upgrade it to 8GB RAM because when I use After Effects, it sometimes freezes. Is this sufficient or do I need to go with much higher RAM?

There are so many Graphics Cards in Market and I’m not sure which one to purchase. Please suggest some good ones but would be great if it is cheap and has some offer.

Budget: Below 7-8k.

Note: I am not yet addicted to video Games on PC.:D

PS: One guy suggested me to purchase Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon R7 250X 1GB Graphics Card. So, can you please let me know whether this is best to my budget or anything else.

Thank you.

oh, well seeing how you said that "i am not yet addicted to games on pc" and had a smily face I thought that you were going get into pc gaming. In that case I would say get the 750 ti, it has 2 gb of video ram and its a pretty powerful card for only about $150, I do think it would be important to have a powerful card for your 3d modeling.

well i would recomend gtx 760 its a pretty affordable price for quite some power, my friend has it and runs battlefield 4 max settings at 90 fps along with 8 gigs of ram and a quad core i5 processor

assuming you have at least a 500w power supply, also for editing or 3d max or whatever i would recommend 16 gigs of ram. you could probably get by with 8 but 16 is recommended

Thanks again for replying. Actually I don't use any kind of games. I only use the Software. So, I think this gpu seems pretty costly??
