I normally work on desktops and laptops; but, I had gotten an HP All-In-One MS255 really cheap but it doesn't turn on. I have tried a laptop AC adapter with 19V / 3.42 A...and I realize it's not the exact specification on the unit of either 18.5v / 6.5a or 19v / 4.74a...but until I got the right adapter shipped in I wanted to see if I could hear anything or see at least a power light come on when I pressed the power button...but nothing happens. If the MB was good wouldn't I at least hear or see something happen even with an adapter with a difference of -1.32A?? I'm eager to get this working and thank in advanced any one with a helpful answer or response.
