I recently built a new system. i have a intel i7 4790k and stock heat sink and fan. i didnt change the thermal paste that was already applied to the heat sink copper plate. at idle im getting about 37-40C and under load i usually get about 70-74C
Are these numbers okay or should i buy aftermarket thermal paste like arctic silver and re apply it?
I dont have enough money to get an aftermarket heat sink and fan at the moment so the stock intel ones will have to do.
