Windows 8.1 Wifi connectivity issues

Background: When I first bought my HP Pavillion with Windows 8.1, there were wifi connectivity issues from the start. For example, the wifi would randomly shut out and I would have to forget the network and reconnect it in order to gain access again. A few hours later, I kept getting limited connection every couple minutes which made using the internet unbearably frustrating. This limited connection state would last from a couple of minutes to a couple of hours. After some quick googling, I managed to employ several quick-fixes and one of them managed to hit the mark and my wi-fi was relatively undisturbed for 2-3 months (except on Fridays).

However, the constant limited connection has returned again. I have done just about every possible solution anyone has answered, including resetting the network adapter, reverting back to an older version, all cmd prompt administrator network commands multiple times, resetting the router, changing ip/dns addresses multiple times, troubleshoot using HP support assistant and windows network diagnostic, and doublechecking power management several times.

Was wondering if there is any solution to this besides downgrading to Windows 7 (which is no guarantee of a fix), as this issue has rendered my PC completely useless.

Thanks

Hi there, just wondering if you ever got this resolved? You described my situation perfectly. The issue reappeared right after the latest windows update ran last night.
