I have an 3tb hdd that is formatted to HFS+ so that I could use it at school and at home for homework and what not. I am now done school for a few weeks and no longer need it to be formatted for hfs+ and want to format it back to just be fat32 or w.e but dont want to loose the data. I have paragon hfs+ installed on my computer and the drive wont show up in my computer but will show up in disk management. I also downloaded HFS explorer to copy the files off and it doesn't detect it either. If i feel the hdd I can feel it "running" and ive tried a second hdd with the cables and it works fine so i no it isnt the cables. Any ideas I can try im hoping to not need to by any new software.
update: got it loaded finally with uninstalling from devive manager and restarting, however i have ot plugged in via usb 3.0 and its transfering at 170kb/s.... it used to transfer at least 10-20mb/s... i have 1.5tb of stuff to move and i dont wanna wait the 3 weeks that it says is there any way to speed this thing up?
