So i'm a long time gamer working on first build it started as upgrade on old computer and i got a little carried away. anyways build is

-i7-4790k (BX80646I74790K)
-ASUS Sabertooth Z97 mark 1
-EVGA GeForce GTX 970 (04G-P4-2974-KR)
-ADATA Premier Pro SP900 512GB Solid State Drive
-PNY XLR8 4x8GB DDR3 1600Mhz (PC3 12800) CAS CL9 (MD32768K4D3-1600-X9)

I got it all together and started it up and would not post the DRAM led flashes then goes solid hit the memok! button and nothing. thought might be a bad stick so i tried each stick individually in each slot and combos of sticks in recommended memory configuration (dimm-a2 and dimm-b2). I then tried each of the sticks in old computer and all i get is lots of beeping. I then tried stick from old computer in new build and it started right up no problems and has been running like this for about 3 days. The dimm sticks are not on the compatibility list in the motherboard user guide but i have seen bundle pack selling these parts together on tiger direct. So I the total novice at the computer building thing have come to the conclusion that the memory sticks are the problem. Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated. Fell free to talk to me like a child because I am just winging it and learning as i go thanks for reading.

Thanks for the quick response guys. I had already checked all slots and it booted in all with the old stick i have so i sent them back and ordered g skill (1600C9Q-32GXM). I will repost when they arrive. might be a week or so it takes a while for things to ship to where i live.

Solution
I would RMA the sticks and ask to get another brand/model. Corsair or GSkill are good and lately have been using a lot of Team memory in builds and they have turned out to be excellent.
