I have a SSD but I want to Install a Game on my HD but I'm worried that the FPS will drop. It's quite obvious that the HD is going to run slower than the SSD but will it slow down my gaming performance or the FPS?
BTW: The reason I want to move the game is because the SSD out of space fast.

The FPS wont drop, the game only LOADS faster on the SSD, loading cutscenes, starting the game, etc. the frames are the same once loaded.

programs on the SSD don't run faster per se' they just load faster. Now programs that call on the disk a lot can benefit from the SSD, namely Adobe photoshop.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I will just add that sometimes your HDD will spin down if not in use to save power (i.e. you walk away from your computer for 30 minutes or are just using microsoft word and an internet browser for a long period of time). If this happens, you'll notice your system lag/freeze briefly when opening something that is stored on your HDD (or just opening windows exlporer).

I configure my systems with a SSD for the OS and select programs (Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Photoshop and several other programs benefit from the SSD - but most do not). I use a HDD for my music, videos, documents, photos (and even photoshop data files) as well as quite a few programs.

an additional side note lol, if this concerns anyone the spin down power saving feature can be configured and even disabled in the Control Panel > Hardware > Power Options > advanced power settings.

Well I don't use programs such as Photoshop or other programs such as that.
I mainly play Video Games, mainly.
