Is there any real difference other than the wattage? because i'm thinking about getting the Thermaltake ToughPower 750W but i wanted to know if there was a difference in quality?

No difference other than the wattage output. 850 if youre planning to run high end cards in sli. 750 to run any single card on the market.

750w will power up all those easily, but since you have a very high end component I recommned going for the 850w bc you might want another 970 to sli it later.
