Games dont work after i restart my computer, i have to reinstall them every time. Help!!!!!

Hi. every time i restart my computer, all my games will stop working until i re install them. i can then play them until i turn computer off. Then i have to do it all over again. does anyone else have this issue, or at least know how to fix it.

Its usually a scheduled process that regularly updates the operating system

Often times, the process is halted because of slow or no Internet connection

Go control panel then windows update
Then check if the OS is up to date, to rule out incompatibilities with newer games

I didnt mean to click the solution bar then lol. but my games are from steam, and dvd based and also ubisoft

I know this is probably a stupid question but what do you mean by update my os. do you mean upgrade my win8 to 8.1 or from X64 to something else?
