Its come to that time again where I upgrade my PC. I currently have the following
Crosshair IV formula mobo
Phenom II X4 965 BE
8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600
Samsung 250 SSD
MSI 6879
HAF 912+
I have already upgraded my graphics to an Asus R9 280x. I have seen a big improvement on Furmark and in games. However I am guessing that my processor is probably a bit of a bottleneck here. So I am looking to but this:
AMD FX8350 Black Edition
My question is, is my current mobo worthy of that processor or will it hold it back? I know the formula IV is an enthusiasts board and supports AM3+ but should I upgrade the board. I would rather not if possible.
