Which Intel CPU should I use for this Motherboard?

I want to use an Intel CPU for a desktop I'm buiding, but I'm not entirely sure if it'll fit or be comptible with the motherboard I'm choosing.

I'm going to use http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IYJS8U8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER for a motherboard.

And I'm building this on a http://www.amazon.com/NZXT-Phantom-Tower-Gaming-Case/dp/B006I2H084/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1416322680&sr=8-4&keywords=NZXT+phantom for a tower.

So any help or even recommendations will be greatly appreciated since this is the first build I'm making on my own.

Solution
It all depends on the CPU. A similarly priced motherboard for the latest Intel CPUs would be this board from Gigabyte http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GA-Z97-HD3-2-Way-CrossFire-Motherboard/dp/B00K2RQDOI/ref=sr_1_33?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1416323750&sr=1-33&keywords=z97 This motherboard is overclocking optimised, so any K-skew Haswell or Haswell Refresh intel CPU can be overclocked using this board, and any Haswell/Haswell refresh CPU, K-skew or non-k skew (thats any CPU that uses the LGA1150 socket) will work with this motherboard. If you are going to be gaming with this board, I would recommend the Intel core i5-4690k available here...

First off, that is a FM2+ Mobo and will not support Intel cores since that is a AMD board.

I have made these suggestions as you haven't provided a price range. If they are too expensive, please provide a price range

Thanks! Yeah. I could at most pay $140 for a mobo, and the CPU I was gonna go for that one or a cheap i7. I might have to start reading on the specs for CPU's to understand the differences and see what are the important components of CPU to look for. But yeah, that's seems okay. Thanks alot.

No problem, a quick comparison of Intel CPUs:

i5 - 4 cores 4 threads, no hyperthreading. Normally clocked between 3.0 and 3.6GHz stock with turbo boosts, with the K skews (so Haswell = 4670k, Haswell Refresh = 4690k) having unlocked multipliers, meaning they can be overclocked.

i7 - 4 cores with hyperthreading, so 8 threads. Normally clocked between 3.4 and 4.0GHz stock with turbo boosts, with the K skews (Haswell = 4770k, Haswell R = 4790k) having unlocked multipliers.

Hope this helps!

So http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KPRWAX8/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_i3?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1K8MNC5F5XCKR839D2J6&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1688200382&pf_rd_i=507846 will be better than http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KPRWB9G/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1K8MNC5F5XCKR839D2J6&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1688200382&pf_rd_i=507846 ? Just double checking. I can invest a bit more on CPU and GPU.

And would http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K2RQDXY/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_i3?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_r=1K8MNC5F5XCKR839D2J6&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1688200422&pf_rd_i=507846 be better than the one you recommended? Problem is it doesn't give that much info on it.

In theory yes, if you're rendering video or broadcasting on YouTube/Twitch, or playing lots of CPU-Intensive games, then the i7 will perform better than the i5, however, in the majority of games, the i5 will perform just fine, maybe 1-2fps worse than the i7. I would personally go with the i5 and pick up a high-end GPU and a quality PSU to go with it, or if you already have those, an SSD as a boot drive.

What are the planned components for this build? Maybe I can help with making some decisions

The 2nd motherboard has these features, which the one I mentioned doesn't have:

3-way crossfire support as opposed to 2-way for AMD GPUs
2-way SLI support for nvidia GPUs
An M.2 SSD port
SATA Express.
Better Audio system, including an optical out port
