Power Related PC Lockups...Buy a Higher-End PSU or a UPS?

Hello, Over the past 2 months I have been experiencing completely random lockups that render my PC useless and force me to hard reset or shutdown. I have confirmed that this issue is related to my house's power because I brought every piece of my setup to my friend's house and my whole rig ran perfectly without an issue for almost a week until I brought it home. Within 5 minutes it locked up and I was back to troubleshooting. 3 times I've brought it to my friend's and we could not get it to do what it does at my house. I have replaced the psu, checked RAM, swapped GPUs, tested CPU temps, everything you could think of and everything is fine. For some reason I am getting these issues only at my house and its on every outlet that it does this. I will let you know that every single other device in my house works fine with the house's power. Even the family's low end HP desktop has no issues with these lockups. I am unable to even use my PC because these lockups are so frequent.

I am wondering if I need a better PSU than my 800W Raidmax Vampire. before that, I was using an 800W LEPA...both experienced lockups. A UPS also seems like it may help but I have no clue.

now does it matter how much power my PC draws with this device? do I need a more expensive voltage regulator for my 800W PSU or no?

It seems to work OK in another house. It does not work OK in your house.
To me, that would lead to house wiring.

And I'll say it one last time..Get rid of that RAIDMAX PSU. even if there were ZERO problems, I would still strongly recommend a different PSU.
Or, up your homeowners insurance.

Ill but my first PSU in there but it will not solve the lockup issues. I see you strongly hate Raidmax lol. My LEPA and Raidmax are both very low end PSUs. I do not wanna drop $160 on a high end PSU unless im almost sure it will solve my problems

That power var would do but have to agree with usaf. The raidmax is not a quality unit and you would not have to spend that much for a better one. Don't know what your specs are to advise. You could get a quality unit for half of that. We are not here to offend you, only to help.

could you possibly recommend me a good PSU that would be able to manage my power situation. if not than would a voltage regulator help?
