whats the rest of your build?

Just between the two the XFX is better. XFX PSUs are made by Seasonic which is one of the best PSU brands.

In this case the XFX. EVGA has some really good PSU's but that one is not one of the great but still good.

the main things in my build are i5 4460 and r9 270x and H97-HD3 motherboard.

So I will probally need a haswell compatiable psu

Both are top-tier units. XFX is made by Seasonic, which does not seem to know how to make a bad PSU. Some of the NEW EVGA PSUs are made by Super Flower, one of very few companies actually able to compete with Seasonic on quality. The one in question appears to be an older model, made by FSP. It is also a good PSU, but the XFX is better.

^Yep, that's one of the Super Flower ones, but like he says, you only need 500W for your system.

The first EVGA PSU you listed is an older, FSP-built unit; not as good as the Seasonic-built XFX. The second EVGA PSU, though larger than you need, is a Super Flower unit, and is as good as the Seasonic.

Is the Rosewill Capstone available in the UK? It is a relatively inexpensive Super Flower (not "Sun"flower) PSU. The Kingwin Lazer PSUs are also Super Flower.

Yep that is the one. Same as in the ebuyer link but they just have the wrong picture!
