Still looking for a easier way to make stickers out for my job

Hi there i work in a factory and specifically its the plastic line and we get a lot of parts a day we have 9x9 8x8 3x6 3pc 5pc 10pc 14 pc 18pc 40pc and for the majority they all need a sticker that says the rack number and what position it was on the rack the hard part is we have to write the stickers out and for 40 hours a week my hands hurt i am looking for a way to print the stickers or make them out easier then writing them any suggestions?

Well you don't have to use barcodes, but that is what all the applications I listed are really for. They make handheld scanners that can read the codes. You can have a central database take a customer order, create a pick list, and have verification on the fly that the order is properly filled. For stocking the warehouse the reverse applies.

Bartender can be used to make human readable labels or both at the same time. The output is fully editable.

I have little direct experience with them, but I manage these applications from a deployment and licensing perspective. They allow for automated label creation based on data stored in a database. (Access, Oracle, SQL, etc)

The 100% automated printers are kind of expensive, but you can just get one of their low speed barcode printers. (They make stickers)

Then you will want some barcode reading equipment.

Initial investment might be high, but it is worth it compared to hand writing labels.
