Hey guys

Ive got a EVGA GTX 660

I want to know if I can use dual monitors with 1 graphics card.

I also want to know if it will affect my gameplay on arma 3 and other games if I have 1 monitor for games

And the other monitor for web browsing and notepad.

Would this work fine?

thanks i hope for a fast response.

Solution
Yes, that GPU supports 3 monitors.

No having one monitor on while gaming on the other will not affect anything. I do it all the time with my dual monitor setup.

Oh wow really, okay that is brilliant news.

can you have games on the other one and some how have apps open on the other monitor? how does that work though? do i need to operating systems or is it just like two seperate desktops?

YEs. I do this all the time. You just "extend" the desktop across both monitors in the Windows appearance settings. Then you just open programs and drag them to the second screen. Easy.

I usually have my GPU monitoring program and my CPU temps up on the second monitor while I game.

Or if I play DayZ I have the map open on the second monitor.
