I am building a gaming computer with a low budget. Please tell me what you think and don't suggest a super expensive addition because I am already getting uncomfortably close to my budget.

Approximate Purchase Date: November or December

Budget Range: (e.g.: 300-400) Before / After Rebates; Before / After Shipping

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, watching videos, surfing the internet

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: everything

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: whatever is safe and reliable

Location: Virginia, USA

Parts Preferences: Whatever works for gaming

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Your Monitor Resolution: 1200x900 (I think)

Additional Comments: Make it as good for gaming as possible :)

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My old computer is junk for running any game past 2005

A better CPU with a good cooler and a better graphics card.
Cheaper memory since you won't use it much for gaming and ofcourse a better PSU from one of the best brands.

Should just get 8.1 for a cheaper upgrade to Windows 10. Also, OP, keep in mind that Conputer's build has rebates which means you pay 750 (without tax/shipping) up front, and maybe... they'll give ya the rebate after signing some forms.
