BF4 random fps drops. 90fps to 20?

So recently (about 1-2 weeks ago) I was playing fine, after heaps of work i managed to spare some time for bf4 and for some reason i keep getting fps drops which weren't present before, and its making the game unplayable. once every 15-20 seconds I would say. I downloaded the updates but apart from that I dont know whats going on. I am running dxtory at the same time, which could be a problem, but I doubt dxtory would take over 2/3 of my frames. Any ideas what's happening?
PC:
cpu- i5 4670k
gpu- r9 290
mobo - z87 hd3
psu- rm 750w psu
ram - 2x4gb 1600mhz
2x1tb HDD 7200 rpm caviar blue & black.
Can anyone please help!?

Try closing out the web browser after you load into the server. It worked wonders for me and my frames my frames were dropping down to 40s on medium with avg 97fps after i did that lowest I drop is mid 90s and avg fps are around 120-130

So what has changed would be the question. Can you run BF4 with Windows Task Manager on a 2nd monitor and watch it to see if another process starts hogging your CPU resource?
