Cant update my nvidia drivers

I have a gtx 770 and when ever i try to update my drivers it gets stuck on this

While stuck on this it will start using up my hard drive space even if i stop it, and have to do a system recovery to stop it

Tried doing it in the control panel remove programs and has same outcome

No clue how to fix this

Try this, it might work.
First of all you need to TOTALLY remove all the old drivers. Use this link.
http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/
Note:
Select the respective company(i.e Nvidia or ATI) drivers to be uninstalled.
Use clean and restart option.
And then install the new drivers after rebooting.
