I took a new SSD and got all excited and stuck it in a laptop and installed win7 on it. Noob mistake it was 32 bit. Pulled it out hooked it up to my rig and formatted it so I could put 64 bit on. It appears in device manager and disk management. It even is in my computer and I can successfully transfer data to it. When I put it in the laptop and boot from the install disc of 7 it can't see any drive. Do I need to format it a certain way or prepare the drive for install some how? The laptop is a Sony SVF15AC1QL. The drive is a Toshiba Q series pro 128 gb ssd.

The drive is plugged into the sata port for the hdd. And yeah it doesn't appear at all. I just realized that it is MBT and not GPT so even if it did appear it wouldn't work. The issue right now is that even after completely formatting and removing all volumes the SSD will not convert to GPT. I even tried it through the command prompt. No dice. Like I said though it is working and I know the port and laptop are working, or at least were a day ago when I installed 32 bit windows on it. Thanks for your help btw.
