Hello all,
This is my fist time posting to this forum, but i am a long time lurker and i figured you guys may be able to help me out.
So here we go, I have had two 7870's for quite a while now and i was completely satisfied, that is until my recent experiences drove me to question my setup... in most games ill get a increase in frame rate but in a few i have noticed one card performs better than two. So i looked up the problem and perused the internet, eventually writing it off to poor crossfire scaling, at least until i ran Gpu-z, witch shows that my primary card runs at x16 2 while my secondary runs at a mere x4 2.
Now i have checked my motherboards specs and it states that they are both x16 2.0 slots, are there any reasons my card may be running so slow and is there any other reason my crossfire scaling would be so bad?
