Can i change my cpu without taking my mobo out?

Can i change my cpu without taking my mobo out? I'm to worried that i will ruin something, so is there a way? I have the dell inspiron 570, and I want to upgrade my cpu. The fan seems to be screwed in. I would also like to buy a cpu cooler without a back plate. Thanks :D

You probably cannot use a different CPU cooler since Dell uses a custom motherboard and whatnot. You also need to be careful that you upgrade to a CPU that will work. If Dell hasn't prepared their motherboard and BIOS to support a certain CPU it won't work.
