Running a Gateway router for Comcast Infinity service. The LG BD570 blu ray wireless will connect to Netflix and play for about 5 minutes and then drops the connection. iPad runs fine over the same wireless router. Have updated firmware on LG BD570 to latest firmware. Have rebooted router, modem and Blu Ray but the problem persists

Since you are using wireless for Netflix streaming, insufficient bandwidth for the wireless that may be due to intermittent interference from other networks or 2.4GHz sources is a likely problem. I would use a PC with wireless to run a wireless analyzer like the free version of inSSIDer to check the other wireless use nearby.
Get it from HERE, run it and check the network tab for strong signals by channel that may be interfering with you. You should be using a non-overlapping channel (1, 6, and 11 for 2.4GHz) that has the least other use.
