Long time reader, first time poster. Here is my issue:
I have 2 relatively new (2011) Lenovo M70e Thinkcentre machines with the same problem. I received a bunch of them second hand. I reinstalled the operating system on all of the machines, and they all worked great. I configured them all, then these two sat for about a week without being turned on. I went to use them, and they boot to Windows, but they never get past the Please Wait screen with the spinning circle before logon. I ran diagnostics on the HDD, memory and motherboard, and it all came back fine.
