So I'm looking to upgrade a really horrible video card it is a gt 430 and I want to upgrade it to a gtx 770. I have a i5 650 3.2ghz 4 cores and 8gb of ram. Also idk if this will inpact bottlenecking significantly but I will be using a pci-e 2.0 not a 3.0 slot. Also I was thinking about buying a factory overclocked one. Are they done to a relatively safe level? I have never overclocked anything before so this seems easier but I'm afraid it will over heat and I dont wanna waste money on something that will be ruined.
