Hello gents,
I'm building a budget pc since my current rig does not have an HDMI output and decided to just upgrade most of it except maybe the PSU. So I am planning on buying the following:

GFX Card
04G-P4-2768-KR
$250

MB
GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3P
$80

CPUs(haven't decided whether ill buy the 8350 or 8370)
FD8350FRHKBOX with the stock fan
$175
FD8370FRHKBOX with the stock fan
$200

RAM
HX318C10FBK2/8
$85

Besides that I already have the tower and the an older Corsair CMPSU-550VX 550-Watt VX Series 80.
Is this power supply enough? I also have 3 Caviar Green HDDs and an optical drive. Keep in mind that the PSU has a Dedicated +12V rail incase it makes any difference.
I think I'm basically at the limit of my PSU so I think I may need to opt for a new one but a PC Wizard's input would be greatly appreciate it!! I am trying to save on energy. Thanks

Solution
I would change the motherboard to GA-970A UD3P which is much better board for the FX 8 core CPU the selected board will struggle with overclocking.
Corsair VX550 will run that fine.

Awesome!!!, I actually decided to go with some 990fx, but its the same power requirement so I should be ok. Thx

Yes 990FX is good apart from Asrock 990FX extreme3 just to make sure, it is the only 990FX board with 4+1 power phases like the normal 970 boards.
