Turbo core improves performance on a few threads for demanding programs. It will improve performance, but also generate heat.

If you are overclocking, you can disable it completely.

i am overclocking but didn't know it generated more heat, thanks for the help

If you are overclocking, the turbo core will make the clock less stable. Best to disable it.
