Hello,
I have laptop Dell Inspiron 15R (5520, Mid 2012) with AMD Radeon HD7670M, which I can't make work when I want it to. On some aplications (World of Warcraft) it is working, while on other games it is not. I check if it is working with AMD system monitor. I can't start the Catalyst control center either. It used to work, but when I installed 14.9 update it wouldn't start. I get a message that there are no AMD components installed. When I check in the device manager it shows that both the AMD gpu and the Intell gpu are not working. When I uninstall the Catalyst control center bot gpu's start working again. I tried to install older version of the Catalyst control center but it didn't help.
Any feedback would be highly appreciated.

Solution
I'd also go into the BIOS and make sure the integrated Intel graphics is DISABLED and that the AMD GPU is ENABLED or designated as the primary graphics adapter.

Catalyst control center not opening is not related to drive errors. It's a driver issue or a problem with the hardware itself.

@darkbreeze: I uninstalled the AMD gpu from the device manager and it didn't help. I will try again with the tool you suggested, and will let you know about the result. Thanks both for all the suggestions.

@ darkbreeze: When I start DDU application I get a warning that I have an AMD switching laptop (Enduro or equivalent) and DDU is now fully compatible/tested with that. Should I proceed anyway?

Removed drivers with DDU and installed CCC 14.9 but it won't start. I get a message "AMD Catalyst control center cannot be started. There are currently no settings that can be configured using AMD Catalyst control center." According to the device manager AMD gpu should be working.
P.S. Do you think it would help if I remove again drivers with DDU and install older version of CCC?

Unfortunately in the BIOS there is nothing at all about GPU's. I'll try later re installing everything again and will let you know about the result. Thanks for the help.
