Hi Everybody,

I want to upgrade my 3 years old gaming pc.
Intel i5 2400 3.10 Ghz
Nvidia Geforce Gtx 560
4 Gb DDR3 RAM (Going to be 8GB in a couple of day)
Motherboard; Asustek p8h61 pro
PSU: Corsair TX650

I wanted to buy a new video Card and i was going for a nvidia gtx 970, but i read that my motherboard is not fully compatible.

So i would like to ask:
- Which Graphic Card would be an upgrade full compatible with my system?

AND

- Is it worth to buy a graphic card compatible with the motherboard, or is it time to change both?

Thank you.

while this is true your cpu and ram may cause some major bottlknecking and you will not get the full power. i would look into getting this generation i7 and maybe a 770 instead
