No vrm heatsink onand ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS

Hello, I have an ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS with a fx 8320 at stock speeds with the stock fan, And I plan on overclocking my cpu to 4.5ghz when I get a better cpu cooler but my problem is that I think the vrm will overheat because it has no heatsink.

My question is will the vrm overheat and does this motherboard allow an after market heatsink to be installed on the vrm?

hmm, probably yes if you dont overclock, but if i were you, i would get...

yea well, that motherboard isnt meant for overclocking, or even a 125w cpu, get a m5a97 evo, or higher.

But it is the plus version of ASUS M5A78L-M LX and it said it was compatible with 125w processors, I will not overclock it but will it support the fx-8320 without overclocking?

hmm, probably yes if you dont overclock, but if i were you, i would get a motherboard with the 970 chipset at least. (not LE versions)

I have already bought the other motherboard but I will get a better one on Christmas.
