how do i know if my gpu wil work in my pc

I want to buy r9 280x nut i dont know if it wil werk on my pc.

Speccs
Cpu amd athlon II x3 425
Psu 380 watt
Moba msi gf615m-p33 v2 (ms 7597)

as for compatibility, as long as the gpu and the board have the same interface (in this case pci-e unless the pc is too old) then it will be compatible. but, and this is important, as mentioned above by the good sir, psu is important. a good quality psu, esp if you have a powerful gpu
