Thermal paper fades over time, and I work in a FDA regulated industry that needs to keep documents longer than the thermal paper will last - recently we've starting to scan everything that is printed on thermal paper. In this case we have hundreds of feet worth of autoclave printouts each week that takes an insane amount of time to scan. I'm trying to find a better solution - is there a long receipt scanner that would work? Maybe one of those handheld scanner-wand things?
The dimensions of the printout are 4.25" wide by ~10' long
