Is this enough air cooling for an i7 4790K CPU

Solution
More then enough, even if you plan to overclock it. It will already run at 4.4Ghz based on thermals, most people can get another 2-300Mhz out of it on air.

Ty! Was rlly afraid this woulnd´t be enough and i would have to change to the noctua in the future, since i saw some other post´s saying 212 evo wouldn´t be enougth but none of them talked about their case.

Case isn't that critical as long as it has vents or intake/exhaust fans. CPU cooler is there just for that, getting the heat out of the case takes one fan.

Only an 88W CPU at stock settings. Not like AMDs 125W, or the high end Intels at 130W and 150W. (Or AMDs 225W monsters). Overclocking can push it to ~150W or so, but that is within the realm of what a hyper evo 212 can handle.

Bigger heatsink would just get you that last 100Mhz.
