I'm planning on upgrading my gpu and was wondering if a cpu upgrade would be necessary. If I do need to upgrade my cpu, what would you recommend? If you recommend a fx cpu or intel cpu, that'll dictate a motherboard upgrade as well. Here's my rig...

Motherboard: MSI A78M-E35 Micro ATX AMD
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) X4 760K Quad Core Processor (Currently using Hyper TX3 cooler)
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8gb DDR3 at 1600 mhz
Storage: Western Digital Black 1TB
Optical Drive: Samsung Electronics 24x DVDR
Power Supply Unit: Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt
Operating System: Windows 8.1 64-bit
Case: Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-01 (Four red led fans installed: Two 140mm on the front and two 120mm on rear top.)

yeah it will. but it wont be HORRIBLE. you just wont get all your monies worth from the GPU with a 760k. it will definitely perform better than your gtx 750 though so it wont be a waste of money really
